Thursday Night Lights

Our next (and last!) football game is Thursday, November 4th, when the Plano Senior JV2 team takes on Plano West JV2 for Homecoming. This is a home game at Clark Stadium. Students will come straight to the band hall at 4:15pm to eat, pack, and load for the game. Please remember to bring: dri-fit shirt, uniform shorts, long black socks, marching shoes, flip folder/lyre, and water jugs. These are required items for all band students at football games. Mock Inspections + Movie Night

On Wednesday, September 1, we'll hold a mock uniform inspection at 4:15 p.m. to practice getting ready for our first football game. Students should bring with them to school: Red Clark Band Shirt (Dri-fit) Black Clark Band athletic shorts Long black socks Marching shoes Water bottle Flip folder/lyre and Instrument. Family Contribution Due Now

The Family Contribution form is now available on Membership Toolkit. As a reminder, the Family Contribution is a required cost for each student participating in band or color guard.  Thanks to those of you who have already made payment.  If you have not yet done so, the first half is now due.  As a reminder, payment arrangements are available. Welcome Mr. Kennedy, Our New Fearless Leader!

The Clark Band family expands again with the addition of Mr. Jacob Kennedy as our new Director of Bands. Mr. Kennedy joins us from Williams High School and Bowman Middle School, where he concurrently held the role of Associate Director. Mr. Kennedy plays the saxophone (just like Mr. Santana - is this a trend?!), is a die-hard UT Longhorn, and enjoys cooking, video games, and family time on the beach. Read more about him here.

A Little Bit of Summer is What the Whole Year is All About

Your flip-flops, pool float, and tall glass of lemonade may be on your mind, but Summer Band is right around the corner! Grab the updated and final summer band schedule so you don't miss a minute of the fun! Leadership camp starts July 19, playing sectionals start July 22, and full band starts July 26. Be sure not to miss the mandatory parent meeting on July 29, as well as uniform check-out and section photos on July 31.
