Spring Means It’s Audition Time

It's spring! And that means it's time to audition for your 2021-22 band placement. Audition music has been released by both Clark and PSHS. Students should sign up for the correct Google Classroom to download the music and get the instructions. The Clark audition window for this year's 8th and 9th graders opens April 7 and closes April 10. The PSHS audition window for this year's 10th graders opens April 14 and closes April 17. NO LATE SUBMISSIONS WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR EITHER BAND.

Morning Rehearsals? They’re Baaaaccckk

You know you missed them. Time to roll out of bed and head to Early Band to prep for the Spring Concert! Starting March 30, students will need to be at the CHS Marching Pad from 7:30 to 8:30 (that's a.m.!) as follows: Tuesdays - Wind EnsembleWednesdays - Concert and Varsity BandsThursdays - Symphonic Band Pick-up/drop-off procedures will the same as for marching season, including COVID screening forms.

Physical & Medical Histories for 2021-22

UIL requires all band students to complete and file health-related paperwork to participate in band. Current 9th graders only need to complete and submit an updated Medical History form by May 14, 2021. Current 10th graders need both a Medical History form and a Physical Evaluation. Go ahead and get your physicals done now, but due date and submission instructions TBD.

Goodbye 2020!

The end of first semester is here, and our faculty and students are ready for a much deserved break. We hope everyone gets some sleep, some laughter, some fun, and some cheer while we say goodbye to one of the strangest years ever. We'll see you back here in January!

School-owned Instrument Fees Due

School owned instrument user fees can now be paid via Rykor. This is for any student using school owned instruments (Oboe, Bassoon, Bass Clarinet, Tenor/Bari Sax, Horn, Bass Trombone, Euphonium, Tuba and Percussion). If a student uses a school owned marching and concert instrument the fee is still only 85.00/year. Here's how: Download, sign, and either scan or email the Instrument Maintenance Fee Agreement to Mrs. Sturch. Then pay the fee via Rykor.
